The girl with the dragon tattoo

The girl with the dragon tattoo opening titles the audiance start by seeing a a series of flashes and a glimps of variouse items. things like a syth and scales from a lizard or snake, these are typically seen a scary and haunting objets, the are bad omens; the use of them in these short flashes it to start you thinking of danger, pain, suffering or death. we then see droplets of black liquid clumping together and then a see of black liquid, possibly symbolising a endless expance of darkness. the black liquid then begins to consume variouse items like a whip and a coin; the liquid is collecting together and becoming greater. the whip is a sympol of dominace and the coin is money, money is power; this could sujest that the black liquid is corupting power and those who have controll over others. the title then apeare, but is flooded by the liquid very quickly. Then th audiance see a Woman laying down being consumed and drowned by the liquid. The liquid flows throught a keyborad and it infects it and we see a it flowing through lots of nooks and cranys. It is infecting everything that is spewing from the mouth. We then see a flame torch, and a group of cables going tward a big lump of black liquid. Then the flaming torch hits the black liquid and it ignites, burning away the liquid and iluminating the objects. it burn a person and an eye, sujesting the corupt veiw is cleared, and the corupt people get burned away. Then a pheonix is seen bursting out of the black liquid signifying, rising from the ashes. Then a black flower blooms from a swirling mess of thorns. A man is then seen drowning in the liquid, a fist punches someone in the face repeatedly and a bug is bursting out of an eye. A group of hands then cover and cage in the person. Then a woman screams releasing a swarm of flys, showing the evil being released; then the people begin to melt and get torn apart. This is showing the coruption beging destroyed, and the fact that the whole sequence is in the black liquid makes it seem very seriel and unnatural; it is oil and completely blacks out the light. this reflects the dark nature of the film. the flames burning away the oil is a reprisentation of the light destroying the dark.
